Continued from here, here and here... Justice and I had went to Hectis... We encountered a strange creature. With Justice powers, she was able to subdue him and learned he was being used... The Corru had it's family. Shiara and I accompanied Justice... The Corru was seriously over confidant and we were able to help P'tka and his family. Seeing Justice on Hectis boosted the rebels self esteem. I was sitting on a beach with Justice in my arms when I received and urgent message... It was the Excalibur, they were broadcasting hazardously in any way they could. It would seem Capitan Gideon was desperate to contact me. It also seemed that the ship and mission were in danger. "Justice, I have to go.." I whispered... She nodded, "I know I saw it in your eyes..." We traveled on my ship back to Vampi's mansion... I carried Justice asleep past the labyrinth below Vampi's mansion. I laid Justice in the center of the Labyrinth, what was the fighting room normally used by Vampi and Mirai.. I casted a spell... The Sleeping Beauty spell... Justice would remain asleep until she is awaken by a kiss... A garden of thorny roses filled the labyrinth and seal Justice in... Vampi looked at me and I smiled, "She will sleep and no one can get to her. If by any chance someone does they will not be able to awake her. Only.." "the kiss of one's true love, I know the story Galen." Vampi stated... I smiled, "Well a person can actually have several true loves. Only someone Justice loves and cares about and feels the same for her can break the spell... If someone enters the Labyrinth and she doesn't love him and he doesn't love her, Justice will vanish when they get close and be relocated somewhere else in the Labyrinth. There will also be holo demons protecting her. This way I do not have to worry about her, while I am gone. If evil Mirai comes after her he will not be able to find her." As much as I wanted to I could not kiss Justice goodbye, I would have to save it when I returned. Shiara and I left for my time and Universe... "Galen The Excalibur." Shiara announced. I entered and saw my old friend sitting going over scouting reports... I clapped my hands and rubbed them together, smiling to hide my confusion, "So what is the emergency?" "Galen what are you talking about?" Matthew queried My face fell in a grimace, "You sent a distress call.." "I did?" The was quickly becoming frustrating, "Galen I don't know who pulled one on you but... I sent no distress call.." Something in my gut was telling me this was bad... Very bad... "Matthew I must go.." I said turning on my heels quickly "Go? you just got here." I heard him call out to me and them sigh, "technomages.." I and Shiara boarded my ship quickly... "Galen what is wrong?" I said nothing... I flew at fast speed and attempted to return to the Universe and time where Justice is... I fell back... "Galen?" Shiara asked again... I tried again to reenter and then hung my head, "We can not return to the other Universe and time... Something very strong and very powerful... Definitely Shadow tech is blocking our access." Shiara cried, "HS" I returned to the Excalibur and tried to find away to by pass the technology the Trapper is using... I fear Justice is in grave danger... tbc

Techno Trial: part 1 the summons...

The battle was over and I took Justice home. I left and had been sitting in my ship quietly. Then the techno-message I had been dreading came... Techno-message received from Herazade ----------- Galen , Your use of the Spell of Destruction against the orders of the Circle is a disgrace to our Order. Return to the hiding place immediately... ------------ I returned to my time and turned my ship toward the edge of the galactic rim. I was heading to the hidden place on an asteroid within an asteroid belt. It had been home to many technomages now for some time. I knew they would send for me. I knew Herazade wouldn't be able to resist the chance to see me tried and executed. As I approached the asteroid appear and I landed. I began wondering who would greet me first... As I approached I saw Federico. He gave me a Techno sign which was a standard greeting among my order. "Let me guess you are defending me?" I say with a force smile. He signed, "You know I can't. As a member of the circle I must judge you. Trust me it sucks and I already gave my defense." "I am sure Herazade ..." He cut me off... "She tells others that you undermine the circle at every chance and that you are dangerous. " He stated in a flat tone.. "and what do you think Federico?" I inquire... "I think old friend that you play with fire way to much." He stated as he escorted me to my room. I sat quietly waiting until a few familiar faces knocked on my door. "Galen! We are glad you have returned. Shame it has to be under .. these .." Sireal cleared her throat trying to reestablish her calm. "Yes, I would have returned sooner but being asked to leave and exiled ... Well..."I state dryly Brestan growled, " I will try to defend you but to be honest it doesn't look good. Herazade has most of the circle on her side. " "Doesn't surprise me." I say... Rayna smile, "Tell us it isn't true that you didn't defy the circle and use the spell." "Do you want me to lie?" I force a smile... "Galen why? Can you tell me that?" Brestan asked I nodded, "TO save a girl. A Special girl. I will say no more though." They soon left me to my thoughts and I stared out into space... Herazade would have me flayed and I would die, but she would live. I had only wish I had done that for Isabel. There was 5 members of the circle. 5 was the number of balance. "Galen you will now come!" A voice boomed... In a flash of light I appeared before the circle... I only saw 4 members.. In red and gold Rasieh Herazade interrupted my thoughts.... "Galen you know why you have been summoned?" She says in a sneer... I look at her, "I think we all do so please let's get this hum drum of a trial over with." "You will watch your tone .. You have been a problem since day one..." She growled back... Federico entered... "You are lare.." He sneered, "I am not staying. I think this trial is wrong. Galen has done nothing but try to uphold the 7 principles. " Herazade looked at her former apprentice and sneered even more, "He violated a direct order not to use the Spell of Destruction." Federico shook his head, "I vote not guilty and will not be a part of this." he left and the rest of the circle murmured... Felica stood, I recall she and Federico were lovers, "Galen if you would just tell us why.." "Does it matter why?" I say. I wasn't about to reveal my feeling to them for Justice. I wasn't even sure I had feelings for her... Druina spoke, "If you do not explain your actions Galen. We have no choice but to find you guilty and flay you." I choose to say no more... TBC

Blazing Fires: Part two - a leader is born

After Justice was attacked, she became quiet. She asked that I support her decision but not what her decision was. I learned with the rest, when she gave her speech. All was surprised that I choose to follow Justice into her desire to lead this battle... Truthfully I knew she would go regardless what I did. At least by supporting her I could perhaps see to it that she returned unharmed. If I am killed in the process well, it is no small matter. I am dead either way... It isn't a thought I enjoy but none the less it is... the truth.. Shiara took her natural form as the dragon.. I never imagine myself as a Dragon rider but I thought I could do more damage from above then I could marching into battle.. I had her take dragon form and fly over the troops as we were boarding to head to the Planet Hectis. I had hoped it would give them a sense of courage... Now that we had arrived on Hectis I would ride her and protect Justice from above... In the last few days I have watched Justice become a woman and make very adult decisions. I have to remind myself that she is still only 16. "Galen, " Justice calls my attention.. "I want those buildings on fire... I want this planet in flames!" I bowed and then Shiara took flight.... Justice stood tall and waved the signal... "Attack!" As been commanded Shiara and I flew over the Cities and bases ... She breathed hot fires of dragon breath as I hurled fire balls one right after another... From above ships exploded in battle the heavens was a light with the battle above us... Below us I kept watch as I saw Justice become baptized in blood... The Corru Empress and Emperor believe as General Kameal that most of the rebels would die but unlike Kameal believed they would be crushed and decided to let the Universe see it happen... The Corru were broadcasting the battle for all to see... They especially kept the satellite videos on Justice... If she fell in this battle then all hope would be lost and the rebels would be crushed ... at least that is what the Corru Empire believe... Justice was like someone who had been driven into a lust for blood... The pile of Corru bodies piled up at her feet... HS was not far behind doing his share of butchery... I continued to do my part as I hoped that she would not end up being in the 95% casualties that was expected... continued here...

Blazing Fires: Part one - Gearing up for battle...

Justice had to go and give some speech to the Rebels fighting against the Corru. Galen was worried and volunteered to take her. He found out she went to a party and went to get her. I am not sure what went on, but I think Galen is realizing he has feelings for Justice. During our stay with General Kameal a lot has happened. HS and I tracked down some Mercs planning to kill Justice. The one who paid them though got to her and she was hurt. Galen stayed with her. Justice decided she would still give her speech during which we learned of her intentions to lead the troops herself.. She has the fiery look of a Sayian in her eyes and is determined to do this. HS is not happy.. It surprised him that Galen is supporting Justice's decision. Somehow it doesn't surprise me though... "Galen, I can not believe you have promised your full support to Justice!" HS yelled... "We need to take her home, that is what my parents would want. I told them both I would make sure she was no where near the battle." Galen stood silent and then turned to HS, "Justice asked for my support and I have given it to her. I will follow her in battle and do what I can... I suggest you do the same because we both saw her eyes. She is going to do this... It is now up to us that doesn't end up being her last decision." As Galen past me he told me to get my weapons and ready myself... "I am ready Galen." I stated as he walked past and vanished.. Though he wasn't thrilled about it, HS is going to be Justice's general. We are heading to the planet Hectis, It is one of the major Military bases for the Corru Empire and a significant base of operations. It is from this planet they will launch a full strike against 3 heavily populated worlds of beings weaker than themselves. If we take this base down those worlds will be safe... Justice sent Kameal to her ship while she took the lead of the ground soldiers... HS stands at her right and Galen at her left... Galen signals me to take Dragon form and I do... I fly over thousands upon thousands of different races joined in this cause... We board a slave ship that was stole and will serve as our Trojan horse... Galen will be using his Technomancy too further disguise that the ship has weapons. TBC...
